1. Roomba iRobot i3+ from iRobot EVO
The i3+ EVO and its i3 EVO sibling, the i3 EVO are both identical robots, but they differ in that the i3+ has self-emptying capabilities. That makes the i3+ a good option for those looking for an entirely automated, hands-free cleaning experience, but don't mind having to empty their dust bin manually when it fills up.
Both robots are proficient in removing dirt and dust particles on carpets and hard floors and are able to navigate around furniture and other obstacles. iAdapt navigation software creates smart maps of your home that aid the i3+ EVO to navigate and clean in a manner that maximizes efficiency. However, unlike vacuum deals or other top rated robots we evaluated the i3+ doesn't have obstacle-avoidance capabilities which means it can be stuck on things like socks or power cords and may have issues in navigating through transitions between surfaces like hardwood to rug.
iRobot recommends that you tidy the area around the i3+ EVO vacuums before using it. This includes putting away any toys or other clutter it might encounter. It's also recommended to keep the dustbin and filter clear so they aren't clogged by dirt. If the i3+ EVO's internal bin is full or the battery is depleted, it returns to its docking station, automatically empties its debris into the station's external dustbin, and then continues cleaning where it started. Battery life is about an hour-and-a-half of continuous use. It takes about three hours to fully charge.

The iRobot Roomba i7+ is the top model in iRobot's flagship line and comes with all the latest features. It's self-charging, self-navigating and the most important feature of all -- it comes with self-emptying bins that eliminate one of the main sources of maintenance for any robot vacuum.
The Roomba I7+ can make rooms more efficient maps using Imprint Smart Mapping. It also integrates with iRobot Home to schedule cleaning tasks, and you can direct your robot using the app or voice.
The i7+ is faster and more maneuverable in our tests than the eufy RoboVac G30. It also cleaned large pet hair pieces from all surfaces including carpeting. Its main advantage over the eufy, though, is its self-emptying dustbin that removes a major source of maintenance and cuts down on the cost of maintenance.
We were also impressed with the i7+’s compatibility with Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant AI services. We utilized these services to instruct the robot on how to start or stop cleaning sessions and also to move around the room, and to vacuum a particular area. The iRobot Home App made it easy to connect the i7+ to these services. We were able, once connected, to give voice commands to the i7+, such as "Hey Alexa vacuum the master bedroom." The iRobot Home App also offers options to manage i7+ settings and monitoring performance.
3. Dyson Cyclone V10
In a world filled with vacuums with cords that feel like minivans or buses, this small Dyson model feels like an automobile. It's powerful enough to replace a stand-up vacuum in most homes, but it is also compact enough to fit on the bookcase or coffee table.
The V10 is powered by seven cells of energy-dense Lithium-ion batteries, which produces power that is not fading for 60 minutes. The advanced whole-machine filtering system traps allergens, then lets cleaner air into your home. The specially designed head utilizes stiff nylon bristles that penetrate deep into carpets and collect large dust or crumbs. It comes with three suction settings to match the task being performed. It can quickly change between handheld and floor vacuum, and vice versa.

The V10's main drawback is its limited run time. As CR's tests show, its marketing claims of up to 60 minutes are not true. This is a typical, not exceptional, battery-powered cordless vacuum's run time. It's enough time to vacuum the typical home however, it's not enough time to get into every corner. (A second time generally works). This model has its own advantages however: it's lighter and more maneuverable than older Dysons cordless models and its ability to vacuum is noticeably superior for carpet floors with low pile.
4. iRobot Roomba 694"
One of iRobot's most popular robot vacuums The 694 is a basic model that's a good choice for people who don't want to spend too much on a robotic. It's capable of sucking up most debris types and sizes during our tests, and often passes over the same areas several times to get a really thorough clean. Its flat front side helps it reach into corners and along the walls' edges which is a nice addition.
Its intelligent navigation system makes use of iAdapt to stay clear of obstacles and navigate your home, but it lacks the ability to map that comes with more advanced models like our top choices such as the i3+ EVO and j7+ series. It may get stuck on phone cords or furniture and often runs out of power before returning to its base.
The Xiaomi Mi robot is superior in many ways over the Roomba 694 in that it has fewer parts that require regular cleaning, is equipped with an allergen-trapping HEPA filtration system, incurs lower costs for recurring expenses and has more advanced automation capabilities and is better able to navigate itself. It also has a bigger dustbin and is charged faster.

It's also more robust, has a larger motor, and performs better on low-pile and bare floors.

The app offers a variety of options to personalize your robotic cleaner, including virtual barriers mopping water levels, behavior modification docking frequency settings and much more. It's easy to comprehend and user-friendly, as is the case with other Samsung devices.
In our tests in our tests, the Jet Bot AI+ performed well on hard floors, and it removed 86 percent of dog hair (on carpet). However, it didn't do particularly well at avoiding taller objects like cords and socks, which was disappointing. It's also a bit more expensive than some of the other models we've tested which could be a deal-breaker for certain shoppers.

The app makes it possible to steer the robot manually when needed. For instance my living room rug has a darkly-colored border that tends to cause confusion for other robots I've tested. However the HRV 425BL continued to move across the border, but it didn't register it as an incline. The ability to program the weekly cleaning schedule is a fantastic time-saving feature.
